2025 in review: The year regenerative agriculture proved its impact at scale

See the results, hear from the experts, and discover what’s shaping 2026.

Impact in numbers

2025 marked a turning point for regenerative agriculture integrity and adoption.

Agreena doubled its corporate customer base, with AgreenaCarbon becoming the world’s largest cropland project verified under Verra, and validation achieved for its Scope 3 Project from SustainCERT.

Together, these milestones proved that verified climate impact can scale commercially — connecting farmers and corporates through shared data, trust, and measurable outcomes.

Here’s what that looks like in numbers:

2,500 farmers across 20 countries are regenerating land through Agreena’s platform.

Equivalent to an area larger than Denmark.

Delivering 1.2 million tonnes of CO₂ reduced and 1.1 million tonnes removed through improved soil practices.

Equal to the annual electricity use of more than 517,000 homes.

Major new partners including:

Ryanair, Radisson Hotel Group, and LDC are leveraging verified soil carbon to meet climate goals.

Ensuring regenerative transitions are economically viable.

95 % farmer retention across three programme years.
